Wine drinking is becoming more common a hobby, a social activity, and more importantly a business culture. Basic knowledge about wine, wine appreciation and wine culture are becoming essential. This three-hour introductory course provides you with the basic yet crucial skills to wine appreciation. Technical knowledge and skills to approach, to taste and to evaluate wine will be introduced.

This course offers a hands-on introduction to the world of spirits.  Upon completion of the course, student will be able to list the principal spirits categories, state their defining characteristics and know the key principles involved in the storage and service of spirits.

This short Whisky appreciation session is designated to provide students with the most sophisticated and up-to-date knowledge from the making process to the appreciation of Whisky. A crystal glass will be used throughout the two-hour lecture and tasting session, and students will take it home for further practice and appreciation after class.
