First Steps in Russian (Part 1)

This is for participants who have never studied Russian before. They will be given a first taste of the language, learning some essential words and phrases to get started in very simple conversation. The focus will be on spoken language and some of the following everyday situations will be covered: how to greet people, talk about out one’s nationality, count, ask the way, exchange simple information about oneself, order food and drink, begin to read the alphabet.
