This season, the school has responded to the Government’s recent two Policy Addresses by acting to cultivate more promising young professional athletes and help retired athletes develop careers in related fields. The School is now offering bachelor’s degree in sports development with coaching, in order to help sports people develop the knowledge and expertise to pursue a sports-related career.
We are also featuring programmes on food science, print media application, Chinese library classifications and psychology in education, to help students equip themselves with the skills to progress in their careers.

With technology advancing on a daily basis, talented IT professionals are now in massive demand. This season, the School is introducing a preparatory course for the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examination, to help students acquire this professional qualification. It will also offer a Rhinoceros 3D course to help architecture and design students master this useful design software, as well as a programme on how to create a smart home using various electronics such as pcDuino and programming skills.

Ways to Manage |
According to the Report on Manpower Projection to 2018 released by the Government, as Hong Kong continues to transform into a knowledge-based and high value-added economy, the number of managers and administrators will increase by around 65,000, from 334,700 in 2010 to 399,800 in 2018. To help satisfy this growing demand, the School is launching a number of management programmes, such as integrated and practicing management, managerial psychology, and corporate coaching and leadership development.

In the Yellow Book of World Economy: World Economy Analysis and Forecast for 2016, published by the Institute of World Economics and Politics – Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, it was argued that the rapid accumulation of global debt, low interest rates, low economic growth and high liability levels have led to the low expansion of money, thus destabilising financial markets around the world. The programmes offered by the School will help students grasp the fundamentals of trading strategies, investment management and technical analysis to deal with this new global economic environment.

Chinese Medicine & Healthcare |
Ancient Egyptians and Romans used essential oils made from plant extracts for aromatherapy and physical care. Today, aromatherapy has developed into a comprehensive medical system. The School has established a new series of courses to teach students the knowledge and skills involved in aromatherapy, enabling them to release their own pressures or for beauty care, or even to pursue a career as professional aromatherapists. In addition, we will be offering acupuncture and chiropractic courses, to tackle problems such as incontinence and spinal problems.
