        Mr Chow has over 20 years experience in public and private accounting in Hong Kong, China and the USA. At present he practices public accounting in the USA. Besides general U.S. tax practice, Mr. Chow has hands-on knowledge and experience in the U.S. expatriate taxation gained from his previous experience with international CPA firms in Hong Kong.

    Synopsis:

    The seminar is conducted to give an introduction to the U.S income tax laws and practical issues. Major topics to be covered are Individual taxation (including U.S. expatriate and non-resident alien taxation), transactions in properties, partnership as well as corporation taxation. In addition, discussions of the U.S. corporate governance and reporting issues with focus on Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 2002) and corporate fraud will also be covered.
