Topic: Make Events and Festivals Fly High
One of the key drivers for a successful event is its association with some credible sponsors and strong partners, it is therefore important to draw up sponsorship marketing and partnership programmes with an integrated approach. In the seminar, Ms Priscilla Poon will share her experience in sponsorship marketing and partnership programme development, using business cases from international tourism events and festivals that she had organized for the Hong Kong Tourism Board during her tenure. Her focus will be on sponsorship marketing as a powerful tool in fostering win-win partnership to build market leadership and to differentiate from competitors.
On event marketing, Ms June Ngan will use the Entertainment Expo HK (EEHK)* as a case study to raise profile of a large-scale event to the public in HK and overseas. She will focus on how the EEHK can be successfully and effectively promoted in the city and how the public attention and local involvement can be generated on top of the large-scale overseas participation. (EEHK* includes almost ten Film, TV, Music, Digital Entertainment events which are held yearly in March & April in HK. EEHK aims to promote HK as an entertainment industry hub providing world class entertainment industry products, talents, technologies as well as the marketing and information exchange platform.)
This seminar enables participants to gain insight of the event planning and marketing profession and pick up tips and hints in building sponsorship and partnership relations, as well as city-wide promotion for the events and festivals that you are coordinating and making them fly high.
