The C.P.E./Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law offers a unique and affordable route towards legal practice in both Hong Kong and England & Wales that satisfies many of the P.C.LL. entry requirements.
Leading to an award by Manchester Metropolitan University, this course is especially suitable for university graduates in other disciplines who wish to switch to a legal career. However non-degree holders may also be admitted under some circumstances. Course fees are much lower than on many other part-time programmes for students seeking a pathway to the P.C.LL.
This is an exempted course under the Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance. It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which this course may lead.
