    David Russell is Professor of Environment and Health at the Health Protection Agency and based in Cardiff. He is Head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Chemical Incidents, providing advice and support on the health aspects of exposure to environmental chemicals. He graduated from Leeds University obtaining a degree in Biophysics and cardiovascular physiology, before reading medicine in Cardiff. He subsequently specialised in Medical Biochemistry and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. He is currently employed as an Environmental Toxicologist.

    Ms. Susanna Chiu has over twenty years of professional experience, including audit, accounting, information system audit and controls review, software consulting, system implementation, business management and operations experience. Ms. Chiu is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Chartered Accountant of England and Wales, China CPA as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
    
    Ms. Chiu is actively involved in the Institute’s work. She has been a Council member of the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs since January 2004, and is currently the President of the Council. During the past few years, she has served as chairman, deputy chairman or member of various committees and working groups of the Institute, including 40th Anniversary Task Force, Nomination Committee, Continuing Professional Development Committee, Editorial Board, Faculty Oversight Board, Mainland & International Committee, Professional Accountants in Business Committee, etc.
    
    Her achievements include conducting controls review of the computerized financial system for the European Space Agency in Paris, Germany and Holland, pioneered in establishing a Chinese Satellite Broadcasting TV Station for Western Europe, and implementing nationwide financial controls and information infrastructure for multi-nationals in Greater China.
    
    Ms. Chiu has been also contributing continuously in community services and voluntary sectors for many years. She was awarded one of the ten nationwide "Chinese Women of Achievement" award in the UK in 1991 as a result of her significant contribution in community services in England. She is appointed by the China Government in the committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Shannxi Province; and also appointed by the HKSAR Government on various committees including the Antiquities Advisory Board, Equal Opportunities Commission, and the Digital 21 Task Force.
