Centennial College, a new and independent post-secondary college registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320), is established by the University of Hong Kong to provide full-time self-financed 4-year degree programmes. The College, which will admit its first students in September 2012, is now inviting applications for appointments as:
Duties: The appointee will contribute to different functions within the College including curriculum administration, admissions, course selection, examination, maintenance of students/staff records, campus administration, etc. He/She will also supervise support staff, provide secretarial support to committees and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 4 years' relevant working experience with excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong organisational, problem-solving and supervisory skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills. He/She should be able to work independently and as a team player with the ability to attend to details and strong computer proficiency.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with renewal being possible subject to performance review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of contract. Medical benefits and annual leave will be provided where applicable.
