Executive Officer (Programme) in the Division of Chinese Medicine [RF: 2011/12-FT-306-CTOL]
Duties: The appointee will provide administrative support to the Division of Chinese Medicine and will perform the following duties:
ĦETo ensure efficient delivery of good administrative support to the Division of Chinese Medicine;
ĦETo assist the Deputy Head and the Subject Group Leader(s) in managing academic programmes, including quality assurance, programme publicity, student recruitment, records management, students and teaching/clinical staff support, preparing statistics and reports;
ĦETo prepare and monitor annual budget;
ĦETo liaise with internal units, local professional bodies and institutions in the Mainland;
ĦETo perform general administration and serving committees;
ĦEMentor and supervise subordinate staff;
ĦEOther duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Requirements: Candidates should possess a recognized degree with at least two years relevant administrative working experience. Preference will be given to candidates with programme management and publicity experience. Candidates should be independent, detail-minded, and able to work under pressure. They should have strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and good computer proficiency.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will be for 1 year.
