Office Assistant in Centennial College (明德學院) [RF: 2011/12-FT-373-JUMP]
Duties: Centennial College, a new and independent post-secondary college registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320), is established by the University of Hong Kong to provide full-time self-financed 4-year degree programmes. The College, which will admit its first students in September 2012, is now inviting applications for appointment as Office Assistant.
The appointees will assist in the daily operation of the College offices, including counter service and office administrative duties. They will handle counter enquiries, clear student assignment box, collate documents and teaching materials, perform outdoor duties, maintain office equipment and perform other duties as assigned. Shift duty is required.
Requirements: Candidates should be Form 5 graduates or above. They should also have good interpersonal and communication skills, strong initiative to learn and willingness to take up responsibilities. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) as well as good computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing are essential.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with renewal being possible subject to performance review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of contract. Medical benefits and annual leave will be provided where applicable.
