Course Description
This programme is designed for people providing fitness and exercise programmes in both community and commercial organisations or for those interested in exercise to develop their knowledge and embark upon academic studies.
- Year 1: leading to the Advanced Certificate in Fitness and Exercise Studies
- Year 2: leading to the Advanced Diploma in Fitness and Exercise Studies
Holders of this Advanced Diploma can apply for direct entry to the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Work Based Learning Studies (Fitness and Exercise) and the BSc (Hons) Sport Management

Note: Modules are subject to change
- Individual modules can be taken on their own without the need to complete the whole Advanced Diploma.
- Assessment is based on coursework (written and practical) and examination.
Entry Requirements
Applicants shall:
1. (a) have completed Secondary 7 education, or equivalent; or
(b) be aged at least 21 with 3 year’s relevant work experience; or
(c) hold a Certificate in relevant subjects;
AND
2. provide evidence of English proficiency, such as:
(a) HKCEE English Language at Level 2;
(b) HKCEE English Language (Syllabus B) at Grade E (Grade C in the case of English Language (Syllabus A));
(c) an overall band of 6 with subtest of 5.5 in the IELTS;
(d) a score of 550 in the paper-based TOEFL or a score of 213 in the computer-based TOEFL.
Applicants may be required to attend an interview and/or an English test.
