Aviation

With the announcement of a third runway to be built at the Hong Kong International Airport, the demand for individuals trained in aviation will increase in the near future. It is estimated that the aviation industry will employ around 140,000 people in the area within the next 20 years alone.

Aviation Management Training
Aviation management is a series of non-flight programmes which provide students with training in the theory and practice of aviation operations and management, as well as aviation safety issues. Courses are taught by aviation industry experts with experience in flight planning, aviation safety and air cargo. These programmes are designed for individuals currently working in the aviation industry and for those interested in a career in aviation.

Pilot Training
Based on the syllabus for the Private Pilot's Licence (Aeroplanes), published by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of the Australian Government, these courses use widescreen flight simulation practice (with a Cessna C172 aeroplane) for training. All trainers are certified and possess a Private Pilot Licence. The course is open to all interested in aviation and flight; no prior experience is required.
