Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. Psychologists try to describe, predict, and explain human behaviour and mental processes, as well as help change and improve the lives of people and the world in which they live. An understanding of psychology can be applied in many different fields, such as teaching, counselling, health and community services, marketing, management and training.

Counselling is a practice originated from humanistic and existential psychology, with counsellors / counselling psychologists seeking to improve clients’ well-being through a variety of means, the most important of which is the helping relationship.   

The School currently offers a wide range of courses in psychology and counselling, from short courses to award-bearing courses. Each of these courses has been designed to cater to the diverse interests and learning needs of different individuals. All courses are taught by seasoned psychologists and practitioners in the field.
