Drugs are used to treat diseases and restore health.  Pharmaceutical sciences covers knowledge from different fields of medical and basic sciences, including biochemistry, physiology, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, drug dispensing, chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, clinical pharmacy and cosmeceuticals.

The School offers a number of pharmaceutical science programmes at various levels, including foundation certificate, advanced certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, higher diploma, BSc degree, postgraduate certificate and MSc degree studies.  There are part-time and full-time award-bearing programmes and short courses which are suitable for full-time students and employees in the pharmaceutical and health care fields.
