Russian
In our increasingly interconnected world, Chinese and English alone are no longer sufficient. From growing competition across the job market to the globalisation of culture and breaking down of traditional frontiers, our modern lives have come to rely more and more on our ability to adapt to a multilingual world.
Russia is experiencing an economic renaissance, and the corresponding increase in business and financial dealings between Russia and Asia have made fluency in the Russian language a highly desirable skill.
Our team of dedicated instructors are not only qualified professionals with certification in teaching Russian as a foreign language, they are also native speakers of the language with years of experience teaching in Hong Kong, and a methodology specially suited to the needs of Hong Kong students. This intimate understanding allows them to offer an inclusive approach to instruction that goes beyond comprehension and conversational skills to include reading and written language skills as well.
Classes are held during three academic terms each year, in January, April, and October on weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate the demanding schedule of working students. We offer three short courses in Russian, First Steps in Russian, parts 1 – 3 (30 hours each).
