This programme aims to provide a basic understanding of art and design for beginners and those who have some knowledge of art to develop their artistic skills and creative ability. Students are to choose 5 modules from our regular programme and complete special assignments.

Architects use drawings as a means of communication to the client before the actual buildings are constructed. Their representation must be concise and clear. This course will teach students the basic technical drawings of floor plan, sectional drawing, and one point perspective using famous buildings from around the world as a starting point. Have fun learning about building design while learning to draw technically.

本課程適合初學者報讀。課程介紹室內設計的發展歷史和設計原則，並教授色彩配搭、物料選擇、採光照明及閱讀施工圖等基本知識。

教學語言：粵語，輔以英文教材
                 

 本課程參考學校〈視覺藝術科〉課程指引，並延伸到空間藝術教學。空間藝術是透過視覺平面和立體的設計，探索學校、家庭和公共空間三種常見的空間藝術。學員透過不同物品的顔色、形狀、設計與擺設，進行設計與創作，產生創新意念，達到視覺美、實用美、建構美，美的和諧中有裝置和產品設計，締造人與空間美之互動。課程打破抽象的藝術框架與教學方式，化成美的欣賞與體驗，進而探討空間藝術課程的教育與未來。課程將安排一節到美術館參觀。
 

本課程介紹平面設計原理；Illustrator及InDesign的功能如繪圖、字體運用、排字及版面構圖；Photoshop的功能如處理圖像及製造特別效果，並將之應用於設計圖案、書版、海報及賀卡等習作上。

軟件：Illustrator、InDesign及Photoshop

本課程旨在通過跨領域培訓：

• 提升室內設計師及相關行業工作人士對於嶄新設計物料與綠色設計相關法規的知識；
• 讓學員掌握使用綠色設計認證標準的工程物料、產品和系統的基礎概念和相關法規；
• 更新學員在嶄新室內設計物料、產品和市場方面的知識；
• 讓學員就綠色設計認證標準的室內設計材料之應用問題分享見解並製定工作原則。

本課程介紹時裝設計手繪圖的技巧，教授學員繪畫頭及人體，並以不同媒介去表達時裝設計的概念。  

課程教授學員如何運用人工智能技術創作圖像，包括介紹基本生成 (Generative A.I.) 知識，透過平面設計軟件實踐操作，讓學員從入門基礎，到特定指令運用 (prompt engineering)，從而製作A.I.圖像。加強他們在創作領域的相關能力。

This programme focuses on conceptual analysis and creative problem-solving in interior design. The Programme Objectives are as follows: 

• develop and refine students’ aesthetic sensitivity and creativity; 
• enhance students’ awareness of the responsibilities and potential liabilities of interior designers and eventually be able to undertake a supervisory role;
• enable students to formulate and communicate their design ideas using verbal as well as 2D and 3D visual means; and
• provide students with basic coverage of professional design management knowledge, building regulations and ethics in the interior design industry.

本課程旨在教授學員使用三維電腦動畫設計的軟件（SketchUp、Twinmotion 及 Unity），再配合 VR 技術構建室內空間的三維圖像及動畫製作。學員可從課堂中認識室內空間的三維外觀、環境光源、層次空間等的物件處理，並嘗試創造各樣的仿真數碼效果。
