Mr. Chung graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a master degree of Laws in Corporate and Financial Law, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. He holds FCPA, FCA and FRM professional qualifications.

Ms. Agatha Chun, Partner of P.C. Woo & Co. Solicitors & Notaries

 

Ms. Chun graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Manchester Metropolitan University and The University of Hong Kong. Agatha’s practice focuses on initial public offerings in Hong Kong, mergers and acquisitions, equity fund-raising transactions and compliance with the Hong Kong listing rules and codes on takeovers and mergers and other regulatory matters. Agatha is also experienced in other general commercial practices including advice on Hong Kong companies and securities law and various commercial contracts.

Mr. Albert Lam, Partner of Guantao & Chow

 

Mr. Lam was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1997. He had worked and gained extensive experience in commercial, corporate finance and compliance matters with a couple of law firms and joined Messrs. Guantao & Chow, Solicitors and Notaries, as a partner in 2018. He continues to work on listing, merger and acquisition, corporate and compliance matters.

Dr. Gary Leung, Adjunct Lecturer, HKU SPACE

 

Dr. Leung holds the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Management, the Doctor of Education degree in Educational Management, a Doctor of Business Administration degree, a Master of Professional Accounting degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting, and a Diploma in Forensic Accounting.

He is also an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants; CPA Australia; the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales; the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, Canada; the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators; the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries; the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants, US; and the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. In addition, he is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Gary has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of accounting, auditing, and consultancy work for IPOs. He has been teaching various programs from professional exam preparatory courses to master’s degree levels since 2000.

Notes to Non-local Applicants

To study in Hong Kong, all non-local applicants are required to obtain a student visa issued by the Immigration Department of the HKSAR Government, except for those admitted to Hong Kong as dependants, who do not need prior approval before taking up full-time and part-time studies. Non-local applicants issued with a valid employment visa also do not need prior approval to pursue part-time studies. It is the responsibility of individual applicants to make appropriate visa arrangements. Admission to a HKU SPACE academic programme/course does not guarantee the issue of a student visa. Applicants may wish to note that part-time courses are generally not considered by the Immigration Department for visa purposes except for self-financed, part-time locally accredited taught postgraduate programmes awarded within the HKU System through HKU SPACE.

非本地申請人注意事項

1. Cash, EPS, WeChat Pay Or Alipay

Course fees can be paid by cash, EPS, WeChat Pay or Alipay at any HKU SPACE Enrolment Centres.

2. Cheque Or Bank draft

Course fees can also be paid by crossed cheque or bank draft made payable to “HKU SPACE”. Please specify the programme title(s) for application and the applicant’s name.. You may either:

  • bring the completed form(s), together with the appropriate course or application fees in the form of a cheque, and any required supporting documents to any of the HKU SPACE enrolment centres;
  • or mail the above documents to any of the HKU SPACE Enrolment Centres, specifying  “Course Application” on the envelope.  HKU SPACE will not be responsible for any loss of payment sent by mail.
3. VISA/Mastercard

Applicants may also pay the course fee by VISA or Mastercard, including the “HKU SPACE Mastercard”, at any HKU SPACE enrolment centres. Holders of the HKU SPACE Mastercard can enjoy a 10-month interest-free instalment period for courses with a tuition fee worth a minimum of HK$2,000; however, the course applicant must also be the cardholder himself/herself. For enquiries, please contact our staff at any enrolment centres.

4. Online Payment

Online application / enrolment is offered for most open admission courses (course enrolled on first come, first served basis) and selected award-bearing programmes. Application fees and course fees of these programmes/courses can be settled by using "PPS by Internet" (not available via mobile phones), VISA or Mastercard. In addition to the aforesaid online payment channels, continuing students of award-bearing programmes, if their programmes offer online service, may also pay their course fees by Online WeChat Pay, Online Alipay and Faster Payment System (FPS). Please refer to Enrolment Methods - Online Enrolment  for details.

Notes

  • If the programme/course is starting within five working days, application by post is not recommended to avoid any delays. Applicants are advised to enrol in person at HKU SPACE Enrolement Centres and avoid making cheque payment under this circustance.
  • Fees paid are not refundable except under very exceptional circumstances (e.g. course cancellation due to insufficient enrolment), subject to the School’s discretion. In exceptional cases where a refund is approved, fees paid by cash, EPS, WeChat Pay, Alipay, cheque or PPS (for online payment only) will normally be reimbursed by a cheque, and fees paid by credit card will normally be reimbursed to the payment cardholder's credit card account.
  • In addition to the published fees, there may be additional costs associated with individual programmes. Please refer to the relevant course brochures or direct any enquiries to the relevant programme team for details.
  • Fees and places on courses cannot be transferrable from one applicant to another. Once accepted onto a course, the student may not change to another course without approval from HKU SPACE. A processing fee of HK$120 will be levied on each approved transfer.
  • Receipts will be issued for fees paid but HKU SPACE will not be repsonsible for any loss of receipt sent by mail.
  • For payment certification, please submit a completed form, a sufficiently stamped and self-addressed envelope, and a crossed cheque for HK$30 per copy made payable to "HKU SPACE" to any of our enrolment centres.
