Discover the next evolution in the world of global learning
Studying overseas was long thought to be the best option for broadening the outlook of young students. However, in recent years, students have increasingly been able to obtain degrees from the world’s finest universities without leaving their home countries.
HKU SPACE, for example, collaborates with the University of London and over 30 other leading overseas universities, to offer almost 100 international courses and other diversified learning opportunities right here in Hong Kong.
And that’s not all. The rapid development of technology is now bringing exciting new twists to global education that will benefit us all. To explain more about these, the School will hold its first ever International Conference on Quality and Self-financed Higher Education “Connecting Local and Global” on 16 November. Local and overseas leaders in education are invited to discuss the strengths and challenges of the many new trends in transnational education. They will outline innovative pedagogy, curriculum designs, the quality assurance of the courses, and the overall learning for students.
In her keynote speech, Professor Mary Stiasny, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) of the University of London, will explain how London U is moving towards greater internationalisation and how students from across the globe are benefitting.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference! |
