The University of the Art London Hong Kong Alumni Association has been organising a monthly seminar series about work-life experience sharing after aboard studying at Loupe in PMQ.

The fifth speaker is Leo P. H. Chan (CSM & LCC alumni, brand consultant, communication designer, art & design educator).

What makes you uniquely valuable to potential employers, clients and partners? Before you start getting yourself out there to the world, you have to position yourself in front of the audience you want to target. From a marketing perspective, positioning is the space you want to occupy in your customers’ minds when they think about your brand. In personal branding, it’s how you want others to feel about you, whether it’s a boss, coworker, job interviewer, friend or partner. Defining your positioning is the first thing you should do before introducing yourself to the world.
