Mr. Will Sweeney
Will is a proven senior leader with over a decade’s experience in digital production and event management internationally. His client management spans clients such as Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Galatic, Adidas, HSBC and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, across Europe and Asia Pacific. Since moving to Hong Kong in 2012, Will’s roles for leading agencies in digital development and technology have seen him managing complex projects from ideation through to execution, as well as developing new client relationships throughout the region. Currently, as Head of Business Development at Shadow Factory, Will leads a team of specialized account managers and digital project managers, supervising client relationships and project execution, while delivering the latest and greatest in VR, AR and Mixed Reality experiences.

HKU SPACE has dedicated and committed to professional event education for a long time, we are delighted to partner with the International Live Events Association (ILEA) Hong Kong Chapter to jointly present a guest speaker talk on 1 April as one of our ThinkBig Creativity Seminar series.
As Head of Business Development at Shadow Factory, Mr. Will Sweeney leads a team of specialized account managers and digital project managers, supervising client relationships and project execution, while delivering the latest and greatest in VR, AR and Mixed Reality experiences. He will present how his company immerses with new technology in different projects and their application in events so as to take event production to a higher level! The focus of the talk is to explore this new immersive medium, its applications in the modern world, the future of the technology, and to discuss case studies from Shadow Factory as a leader in the industry and a creator of immersive content for the past 3 years.
There will be live demonstration of technology and an open interactive Q&A session to answer any and all your questions about this exciting new era of media.
