The programme will primarily appeal to financial services executives who wish to equip themselves with latest knowledge in marine insurance for their professional advancement. This programme is a one year part-time programme designed to equip with middle / senior Management  competencies in insurance risk and management.  The Postgraduate Diploma comprises 10 modules, of which two modules are eligible for CEF reimbursement. Students could also complete 5 modules to be awarded the Postgraduate Certificate.  

The programme adopts the Specification of Competency Standards (SCSs) for the insurance industry under HKQF in its curriculum design.  It uses a work-based approach, equipping students with the appropriate level of skills to address the managerial and risk management aspects in the insurance industry under an increasingly stringent regulatory environment.

This programme aims to equip wealth management practitioners with the latest knowledge and best practices in the fields of medical insurance and retirement planning. It provides a broad overview of all main categories of insurance contracts in the areas of medical and retirement planning. The programme focuses on the best practices of medical insurance and health planning for retirement in Hong Kong.

This programme prepares students for the CFPCM Certification Examination (Foundation Level) and Certified Financial Planning CM Level 1 and 2 examinations organized by the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong. In addition, the programme also enables students to enter Year 3 of Edinburgh Napier University’s Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Financial Services degree programme. Besides, graduates of that degree programme can apply for ENU’s Master of Science in International Banking and Finance programme with alumni discount.

Claims handling is of such importance, it also considers claims handling within the wider context of the systems, process and functions that surround it.
