Common Law and Professional Courses

HKU SPACE is one of the leading  local providers of part-time legal education, and offers a wide range of courses for those interested in switching to a legal career or simply learning more about the law.

We provide courses at every level from the open entry Certificate in Legal Studies (which is open to all and offers an easier route to start studying law) through to preparation courses for world-renowned LL.B. law degrees, as well as an affordable postgraduate pathway towards legal practice.

Most courses are part-time, with classes in the evening and weekends, allowing you to continue working while you study. Demand is extremely high, with some courses full many months before they start. Every year, we have to turn away many disappointed applicants and early enrolment is highly recommended.
