Vaccine Mandate

17 Nov 2021 (Wed)

The University has announced that from Monday January 17th 2022 (start of second semester) everyone entering the campus are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. HKU SPACE will follow the University policy ( ). This policy is applicable in all HKU SPACE Learning Centres and Offices.

The only exceptions will be for those individuals with medical certificates showing they are unable to take the vaccine.

Others who are unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated will have to show proof of a negative weekly Covid-19 test (at their own expense) otherwise they will not be granted access.

Details on implementation for access will be available in early December.

This notice is to give ample warning and to encourage all to get vaccinated as soon as possible for their own sakes, for the safety of their families and friends as well as the community generally.

Visitors (other than staff, students and part-time teachers) entering HKU SPACE Learning Centres and off-campus Offices will be required to use the LeaveHomeSafe app for access.
