“Open SPACE” will be held on 4 June as the School’s annual open day showcasing the essence of our lifelong learning opportunities through talks and workshops. There are several stations at the SPACE for you to explore, including Languages, Profession, Hot Picks, Arts & Culture, Golden Generation, and Life & Health. Explore all the stations and open your mind to a treasure house of knowledge.

Profession

Whether you are pursuing a new career goal, or a newbie making your first career decision, the wide variety of talks at Open Space will help to illuminate your way. Experts and professionals from different industries will share their experiences and career paths, so you can get first-hand information on professions such as Biomedicine, Pharmacy, pharmaceutical business, Medical and Health Products Management, Library and Information Management, food and nutrition, Japanese language and law.

Hot picks

The Panama Papers, Tesla and extravagant artworks are the most recent hot topics around the globe, but what kind of Socio-economic enlightenment can we gain from these events and phenomena? Six topics will be discussed in-depth at Open SPACE, including “Three New FinTech Trends for 2017”, “Art or Expensive Junk?”, Making sense of the Global Art Market”, “The Fan Economy: From The Hunger Games to Tesla”, “The Panama Papers – Cyber Risk and related Security Issues”, and “The FIA Formula E Championship – The Hong Kong ePrix: Sustainable Mega Event Management.

Art and Culture

Whenever you find an extraordinary piece of art, the first thing you often wish to do is to meet the originator, to understand the idea behind it. Mr Wong Chung Kit, a well-known lyricist, Mr Wong Chi Wah, a music critic and Mr Saville Chan, the screenwriter of the popular Hong Kong movie “She Remembers, He Forgets” will be discussing what inspires their work.


Admission is free, but due to limited space, pre-registration is required on a first-come, first-served basis.

藝術文化廊

遇到喜歡的藝文作品,最希望能與創作者對話,從作品背後的理念和創作手法開始,深度與創作者遊歷創作過程,細味作品!著名作詞人王仲傑先生、樂評人黃志華先生和<哪一天我們會飛>編劇陳心遙先生,將分享創作的意念,帶你深入創作空間。
