HKU SPACE has been serving the Hong Kong community for over 60 years. The School has established the Honorary Fellowship to recognise the valuable support from those who have contributed to the School and the community in different ways.
HKU SPACE Honorary Fellowships are awarded to individuals who are distinguished lifelong learners, render signal service to lifelong learning generally over a number of years, and long and distinguished service to the School as well as to continuing and professional education.
The HKU SPACE Honorary Fellowship Presentation Ceremony 2017 will be held on Thursday, 21st November at Rayson Huang Theatre in the University of Hong Kong, and presided over by Professor Edward Chen Kwan-yiu, the Chairman of HKU SPACE Board of Directors.

The Fellowship is a means for the School to thank and salute the lives of those who have made important contributions in their own unique ways to the School, to academia, and to Hong Kong. The Honorary Fellowship was established in 2014 to reaffirm the School's link between town and gown.

香港大學專業進修學院服務香港六十載。成立伊始，已得蒙來自不同專業的翹楚，在不同領域上對學院作出貢獻，今天才薄有成就。學院將舉行香港大學專業進修學院榮譽院士頒授典禮，向與學院及終身教育事業淵源深厚的人士，頒授榮譽院士銜以表謝意。
香港大學專業進修學院榮譽院士將頒授予傑出的終身學習楷模、對終身學習有標誌性的貢獻、和服務學院和持續及專業教育領域多年的人士。
香港大學專業進修學院榮譽院士頒授典禮2017，於本年十一月二十一日(星期二) 於香港大學黃麗松講堂盛大舉行，並由學院董事局主席陳坤耀教授主持頒授儀式。
今年共有四名來自不同界別的傑出人士獲頒授榮譽院士銜：
