E-learning as the way forward for quality education
In our technology enhanced sharing society of today, e-learning is nothing new to either educators or students. But this “new” way of learning was only professionally recognised at an international education seminar in 1999. Within the past two decades, however, it has become an essential element in modern education.
The School is now delighted to host a one-day Conference on E-learning and Technology in Hong Kong and Asia (CETHA) 2017 on 4 November. The conference aims to explore the use of technology in education, and discuss the most updated pedagogical issues and challenges in e-learning. CETHA provides a golden opportunity for fellows to share their ideas and experiences, and contribute to a collaborative environment for education development.
The Conference will also explore the use of MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) in teaching and learning. Participants can also enjoy a variety of workshops to see how big data, coding, 3D printing and virtual reality are aiding in the future development of e-learning.
