HKU SPACE has been serving the Hong Kong community for over 60 years. The School has established the Honorary Fellowship to recognise the valuable support from those who have contributed to the School and the community in different ways.
HKU SPACE Honorary Fellowships are awarded to individuals who are distinguished lifelong learners, render signal service to the School and to lifelong learning generally over a number of years, and long and distinguished service to the School as well as to continuing and professional education.
The HKU SPACE Honorary Fellowship Presentation Ceremony 2016 will be held on Thursday, 8th December at Rayson Huang Theatre in the University of Hong Kong, and presided over by Professor Edward Chen Kwan-yiu, the Chairman of HKU SPACE Board of Directors.
Honorary fellowships will be conferred upon four distinguished people, each highly regarded in their respective fields:
Dr John Luk
Ms Wendy Gan
Professor S.M. Shen
Mrs Siu Tsang Fung Kwan
The Fellowship is a means for the School to thank and salute the lives of those who have made important contributions in their own unique ways to the School, to academia, and to Hong Kong. The Honorary Fellowship was established in 2014 to reaffirm the School's link between town and gown.
