OPEN SPACE: Exploring New Horizons in Knowledge
To succeed, despite the many challenges that may face us, we must strive for continuous self-improvement. An important step in this direction is to take advantage of the many opportunities available at our annual HKU SPACE open day - OPEN SPACE. This will take place both online and offline this year on 8 June. The day will feature over 80 engaging talks and exhibitions on a wide variety of interesting topics.
Among this year's keynote talks will be a discussion on ‘family offices’ to help everyone understand the trends and evolution of this field in Hong Kong. And Mr OKADA Kenichi, the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong will share some of his 30 years of experiences as a diplomat.
If you are interested in a healthy lifestyle, there will also be in-depth discussions between traditional Chinese medicine doctors and dietitians, unveiling the mysteries and benefits of vegetarianism and food therapy.
In addition to the keynote talks, there will be many other topics such as parent-child communication and the opportunities in the Hong Kong equity market.
You can also explore different professions, such as becoming a dietitian or a Cordon Bleu pastry chef, and potentially turning your interests into a profession. And you even enrich yourself with courses on topics such as art conservation, Korean webtoons, and other aspects of language and culture.
In addition, OPEN SPACE will present exciting talks and exhibitions on market trends, languages and culture, wellness and health, professions and careers, and DSE study planning.
