Language courses

Chinese language is often called the ‘paper of death’ in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) and is a major obstacle for many university hopefuls. The School’s ‘5-Star Chinese Writing’ course, taught by Professor Tang Chiu-kay of the Centennial College, is designed to help students improve their use of words and rectify their syntax and grammatical errors. Students can also choose Korean, Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish or Italian language course to widen their horizons.

As digital technology has made video an integral part of daily life, the School also offers a short film making course, covering script creation, production and editing, to help students create their own works.
