HKU SPACE Named "Best AI Education Institution" for the Second Year in a row!
The School was awarded the “e-brand Awards 2026 – Best AI Education Institution” by e-zone, a digital online media under the Hong Kong Economic Times Group. This marks the second consecutive year that HKU SPACE has received the award. Determined through a rigorous selection process involving a professional judging panel and public voting, this prestigious accolade recognises the school’s outstanding achievements, forward-looking educational philosophy and innovative leadership in artificial intelligence (AI) education.
HKU SPACE has designated "Embracing Technology: Driving an Innovative Culture" as a key direction for its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan in response to the rapid development of generative AI (GenAI) and its profound impact on the workplace and education. The School has already integrated AI deeply into teaching, learning and daily operations in the following ways:
1. Expanding its Interdisciplinary AI Curriculum to more than 70 Courses
The School now offers over 70 interdisciplinary AI courses tailored to market demands to prepare a new generation of cross-disciplinary tech professionals.
2. Joining hands with Google Cloud to Accelerate Digital Transformation
The School has established a strategic partnership with Google Cloud Hong Kong to accelerate AI transformation in education. Initially, the School will roll out the Gemini Enterprise for Education platform to all teachers and students while, at the same time, collaborating to develop AI-centric curricula and optimise current teaching content.
3. Establishing the “AI Hub” and Deploying Smart Assistants
The School established the "AI Hub" which integrates diverse tools such as ChatGPT, generative AI, and big data analytics while hosting the School’s official guidelines on GenAI usage. A detailed user guide has been created to help students fully adopt the AI applications.
The School has also launched a 24/7 AI Chatbot on its official website and mobile app. The chatbot provides instant responses to programme and event enquiries.
4. Integrating Internal Data to Streamline Administrative Procedures
The School has established a proprietary institutional platform "HKU SPACE AI Chat" that integrates advanced AI models like ChatGPT and DeepSeek. The platform supports multimodal inputs (text, documents, and images) to provide real-time answers to academic and administrative queries. This service has also been extended to full-time students at the community colleges.

學院憑藉在人工智能（AI）教育領域的卓越貢獻與前瞻視野，今年再度榮獲《e-zone》頒發的「e-世代品牌大獎 – 最佳 AI 課程學院」殊榮。此獎項經專業評審團及公眾投票嚴格選出，印證了社會各界對學院 AI 課程的高度認可。
面對生成式人工智能（GenAI）帶來的變革，HKU SPACE 將「擁抱科技：推動創新文化」納入 2025 至 2030 年策略發展方向，把 AI 深度整合至教學與日常營運，包括：
1. 跨學科 AI 課程擴展至逾 70 門
學院開設逾 70 門涵蓋多個專業範疇的跨學科 AI 課程。課程設計緊貼市場實務需求，致力全面培育新世代的跨領域科技人才。
2. 攜手 Google Cloud 推進教育數碼轉型
學院最近與 Google Cloud 香港建立策略合作夥伴關係，共同以 AI 驅動教育數碼轉型，包括向全體師生推出 Gemini Enterprise for Education 平台，以及合作開發以 AI 為核心的課程優化現有教學內容。
3. 創立人工智能中心 增設智能助理

4. 整合內部數據 簡化行政程序
「HKU SPACE AI Chat」整合 ChatGPT 和 DeepSeek 等模型，支持文字與圖片等多模態輸入，即時解答學術與行政問題。現時學院更將這項服務擴展至附屬學院的全日制學生。
