Language does not only help us interact with people from the four corners of the world, it also gives us a better understanding of different cultures. At the workplace, the ability to communicate in different languages helps us participate in meetings, win negotiations, establish new networks, strengthen business relationships and heightens business performance. In the social context, knowledge of foreign languages opens the door to a world of new friends, new cultures and new wonders in life.

HKU SPACE offers a wide range of part-time language courses at various levels, from beginner to advanced. Our main language areas are English (Business English and General English), European (Spanish, French, German and Italian), Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Most of our courses are award-bearing and Continuing Education Fund (CEF) reimbursable.
Other language short courses are also offered, such as Arabic, Greek, Latin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, Nepali, Punjabi, Urdu and Vietnamese.

學習語言 拉近距離
語言是人與人之間的溝通橋樑，亦彰顯各地文化。在職場上，外語有效地幫助我們作商貿溝通、會面、洽談，以建立人際關係及提升業績。在生活上，學習外語有助我們開拓新天新地。
語言學習帶來極大的歡樂及滿足感！
學院提供不同程度的兼讀制語言證書及短期課程。當中包括英語 [商務英語和通用英語]、歐洲語言 [西班牙語，法語，德語和意大利語]、日語、韓語、粵語及普通話。大部份證書課程已列入持續進修基金(CEF)可發還款項課程名單。
學院亦提供其他語言短期課程，包括：阿拉伯語、希臘語、拉丁語、波蘭語、葡萄牙語、俄語、土耳其語、印度尼西亞語、尼泊爾語、旁遮普語、烏爾都語和越南語等。
