HKU SPACE Shapes the Future of AI Learning
AI is revolutionising industries worldwide. In response to this and its influence on education, the School has included "Embracing Technology: Driving an Innovative Culture" as a key strategic direction for 2025-2030. We are committed to creating a forward-looking AI learning ecology for students, to strengthen their digital competitiveness in this new era.
The School has incorporated AI into its curriculum, offering around 60 interdisciplinary AI courses. In recognition of its comprehensive AI learning programmes, the School was honoured with the "e-brand Awards 2025 – Best AI Education Institution" by e-zone, underscoring our leadership in AI education sector.
Three Key Areas for Cultivating AI Professionals
1. Finance and Investment
The School is in completely aligned with the Government’s initiatives to promote AI in the financial services sector by offering programmes in predictive analytics for business and quantitative finance to help students master skills in areas such as algorithms.
We have also launched programmes in investment management and financial intelligence, Big Data, AI and investing to assist students in optimising the investment strategies.
2. Office Administration and Human Resources
AI is making massive strides in simplifying office administration processes and enhancing productivity. Human resources departments, for example, can leverage AI to analyse staff data, allocate internal talent and resources, save on training costs, and reduce staff turnover.
3. Healthcare
AI is also bringing healthcare into a new era. By using AI tools, healthcare professionals can make more precise diagnoses of diseases and create intelligent care plans from patients' physiological data that facilitate faster recovery. The School’s AI healthcare programmes provide the necessary knowledge of AI in healthcare to help students thrive in this new era.
In addition, the School also offers AI courses in fields such as law, sports, and marketing. 三大重點領域 培養AI專業人才
金融與投資
學院配合政府促進金融服務業的AI發展，開設商業預測分析、量化投資等課程，助學員掌握演算法等技能。另外，投資管理學及智能金融、大數據、人工智能與投資等，助學員優化投資策略。
辦公室行政與人力資源
AI技術能簡化辦公室管理流程，並提升生產力。學院提供多項課程，強化學員的大數據應用技能。例如人力資源部門可善用AI分析員工數據，靈活調配內部人才及資源，節省培訓成本，同時降低員工流失率。
醫療保健
AI正在革新醫療保健時代，透過AI精準評估疾病診斷、智能護理檢測患者生理數據，提供智能化護理方案加速病人康復。AI醫療保健課程讓學員能掌握醫療保健人工智能的概念及理論，為醫學界作出貢獻。
