OPEN SPACE | Walking with AI Towards the Future
Today, AI is reshaping how we work, learn, and live. Navigating this new world is now a major challenge for all of us. On 6 June, HKU SPACE will hold its annual open day – OPEN SPACE – to help you master this challenge, curating over 80 online and in-person sessions.
The keynote talks will explore three core areas to help you shape your personal development and future direction. These include AI technology, education policy, and interpersonal communication.
AI has become deeply integrated into our daily lives. Mr Michael Yung, Google Cloud Strategic Advisor, will share insights on how to live with AI and harness its transformative power.
Mr Lawrence Tang Fei, a Member of the Legislative Council Election Committee Constituency, will examine how The Hong Kong Proactive Alignment 155 Framework uses education as a bridge to drive development and enhance human capital.
Ms Jennifer Shum, Senior Guidance Counsellor and Dr Rosa Kwok, the Programme Director of the School, will share practical communication techniques to help you build authentic, trust-based connections.
OPEN SPACE will also offer a wide range of activities including AI and Web4 in the workplace and the latest ESG and stablecoin trends to help guide you through cutting-edge technology and strengthen your leadership edge.
You can also hear compelling real-life stories such as a forensic expert explaining how “letting the bones speak” reveals the truth behind many crimes, learn practical strategies for supporting children with ADHD and experience the wonders of the underwater world with a certified SDI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
