Upon completion of the programme, students should be able to:
- identify key legal issues affecting banking and commercial practices in Hong Kong;
- gain an updated knowledge on commercial law in Hong Kong and Mainland China; and
- design and implement legal risk management plans to combat commercial crimes and money laundering activities
Note: The “Commercial Crimes and Money Laundering Law” module is not a CEF Reimbursement course.
The programme is recognised under Hong Kong Qualification Framework (HKQF) at level 6 (registration no.: 16/000724/L6). It adopts the Specification of Competency Standards (SCSs) for the insurance industry under HKQF in its curriculum design. It uses a work-based approach, equipping students with the appropriate level of skills to address the managerial and risk management aspects in the insurance industry under an increasingly stringent regulatory environment.
