The 10th Huacan EDA Award (Call for Entries)
The Huacan EDA Award, established in 2014, is a prestigious national A+ design competition for young designers under 45 from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. This competition fosters communication and collaboration among Chinese designers and creative talents, promoting the development and advancement of the design industry across these regions. Attracting numerous outstanding designers and innovative works, the award has become a significant platform for showcasing the creative capabilities of Chinese designers.
This year with the theme: Integration & Fusion, the Huacan EDA Award aims to further explore new avenues for cross-strait integration and development, deepen economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation in the cultural and creative industries across Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
CATEGORIES
The competition comprises 6 categories, each subdivided into two groups: student(s) and young designer(s), making a total of 12 sub-groups.
1. Metaverse Design
2. Visual and Spatial Design
3. Product Design
4. Digital Media Design
5. Development and Design of IP Based on Traditional Chinese Culture
6. Integrated Innovative Design
ELIGIBILITY
1. Young faculty members and students currently enrolled in Hong Kong higher education institutions, as well as young designers from Hong Kong.
2. Participants must be under 45 years old (born after January 1, 1980).
