Psychology & Counselling
Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. Psychologists strive to describe, predict, and explain these phenomena, while also working to improve people's lives and the world around them. The principles of psychology can be applied across various fields, including education, counselling, healthcare, community services, marketing, management, and professional development.
Counselling, rooted in humanistic and existential psychology, is a practice where counsellors and counselling psychologists aim to enhance their clients' well-being through various methods. The cornerstone of this practice is the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client.
