This programme is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong and consists of six modules. It aims to provide students with comprehensive understanding of the business environment in logistics industry, as well as to equip graduates with basic management skills for exploring new business opportunities. It is practically designed for those who are interested in or working in the logistics, supply chain, procurement and related areas, and who are looking for academic and/or career advancement. Graduates may apply for admission to a number of bachelor degrees awarded by University of Plymouth, with a minimum study duration of 18 months. 

This programme aims to provide students with a solid foundation in business studies covering general management theories and practices.  It is designed to equip students with an analytical problem-solving approach in business management.  The inclusion of topical studies in Hong Kong’s business environment will enable students to learn about the emerging issues arising in the society that affect business decisions.

The programme consists of 3 streams*:

1. Business Management;

2. Digital Business Management; and  

3. Applied Business Psychology.

* Choices of streams is applicable for students admitted from July 2020 term only.

This programme aims to equip current and potential business leaders with the knowledge and competencies to lead their people and manage the organisation through changes necessary for transformation. The programme is not just about change management, it also covers leadership, personal skills for agile innovative thinking as well as how to deal with people related issues through the transformation.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management for Digital Transformation is a business programme focused on developing customer-centric business and organisation development strategies to transform an existing business to meet changing customer behaviours with the help of digital technology.
 
The programme aims to equip current and potential business leaders with the knowledge and competencies to lead the business transformation of their organisation with the help of digital technology as an enabler. The programme adopts a practical approach to prepare students for developing business and organisation strategies for the transformation of their organisations and address common issues that may arise with the transformation.

The programme aims to examine the mindsets of innovators and equip current and potential business leaders with the knowledge and competencies to develop a mindset for creativity and problem-solving.

The programme adopts a practical approach with the goal of preparing students with the practices and techniques to promote innovation in their organisations.

This Programme aims to meet the continuing education and professional development needs of those who have considerable work experience in logistics and supply chain industries, or those who are interested to develop a career in these industries. It also aims to enhance the professional competence of students with knowledge and technical capability to deal with the current issues in international trade, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce and procurement.

Upon the completion, students may apply for admission to the top-up Master programme in International Logistics and Supply Chain Management offered by University of Plymouth, UK.

In today’s world of data abundance, artificial intelligence and human resource analytics can help leaders of an organisation make more informed and insightful decisions about its employees. However, to truly become an insight-driven organisation, behavioural changes may be necessary for employees to embrace data-driven problem-solving and decision-making as part of its organisation culture.

The programme aims at, not only to equip human resource and people management professionals with the skills of Artificial Intelligence and human resource analytics, but also with the competence of managing challenges related to behavioural changes, such as conflict resolution, culture and change management.

The programme is highly flexible and any module can be taken on its own as a Certificate for Module, or several modules can be taken together to obtain a higher qualification.
 
Students that graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Analytics and Organisation Change Management will be able to articulate to the Master of Arts Human Resource Management (in collaboration with the University of Plymouth) with exemptions.

1.   the latest concepts, tools and techniques in business psychology and human resource management (HRM)
       to achieve HR and corporate goals and objectives;
2.   various approaches to resolve issues and improve performances in the workplace; and
3.   a thorough understanding of skills needed to develop and increase the opportunities
       for effective conflict resolution.

Digital Transformation is much more than adding digital technology to an organisation. It requires a fresh look at the entire business model and develops organisation strategies that embed digital capabilities as part of the overall business model.

The programme aims to equip current and potential business leaders with the knowledge of how digital technologies are changing the competitive landscape across industries and how they can apply the knowledge of transformation strategies to create additional value for their organisation.

This programme aims to equip current and potential business leaders with the knowledge and competencies to examine the changing values of their digital consumers and select the appropriate platform business model to meet their customer needs and organisation goals. The programme will also discuss the strategic considerations involved in building a business platform and the new trends impacting the development of platforms.

This programme enables students to identify different types of conflicts, and how to manage and harness the conflicts for the benefits of the organisation. Practical skills for handling conflicts complemented with substantive knowledge will be taught. The programme also builds on leadership skills to help students determine the approaches when confronted with ethical dilemmas so as to make them highly effective leaders in negotiation and conflict management.
