This MBA (Master of Business Administration) preparatory course aims to provide tuition support to students for studying the Global MBA, University of London (UoL).
The broad aim of the Master of Science Business and Management programme is to develop students’ management potential by developing their knowledge and understanding of the functional areas of business with a strategic management perspective, and an enterprising approach to leading and managing organisations in a complex and changing environment.
The programmes aim to develop graduates who will have:
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of organisations, the dynamic external environments in which they operate, and their management, and leadership;
- The ability to apply knowledge and understanding of business and management to complex situations to enhance decision making and management practice in general;
- Critical awareness of current trends and issues in business and management, which is informed by contemporary research and practice;
- The ability to learn and work autonomously in the pursuit of creative strategies and business solutions;
- A range of transferable skills relevant to a career in business and management including leadership, analytical, critical thinking, research and communications skills.

The MBA programme has the following programme objectives:
1. To enable the advanced study of organisations focusing on the role of leaders and managers in determining the organisation’s mission, vision and strategic direction.
2. To develop critical reflection and engagement skills to understand, apply and challenge the relevance of academic theories in a rapidly changing business context.
3. To develop insights, critical thinking and management skills necessary to function effectively in a management role and to widen the perspective of students beyond the limitations imposed by their own experience.
4. To enhance your interpersonal, team working and cross-cultural skills enabling you to work more effectively with employees and customers.
5. To develop your knowledge and skills across specialist routes congruent with your career and professional development plans and goals.
6. To foster innovation and entrepreneurial skills enabling you to generate original solutions to management problems.

This postgraduate Diploma is designed to provide opportunities for marketing or retailing practitioners in the fashion business to develop the knowledge, international perspective and managerial skills required to enhance their company’s competitiveness, innovative capabilities and brand reputation. This programme also helps students acquire analytical skills to pursue a career in the fashion business.
The programme aims at, not only to equip human resource and people management professionals with the skills of Artificial Intelligence and human resource analytics, but also with the competence of managing challenges related to behavioural changes, such as conflict resolution, culture and change management.
The programme is highly flexible and any module can be taken on its own as a Certificate for Module, or several modules can be taken together to obtain a higher qualification.
Students that graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Analytics and Organisation Change Management will be able to articulate to the Master of Arts Human Resource Management (in collaboration with the University of Plymouth) with exemptions.
