Programme Overview
Highlights
The purpose of the course is to meet the requests from some students who have attended BEE and BEET for more coaching to attain the proficiency they seek in consistently speaking with a Standard English Accent. Most of the time will be spent in such coaching to further improvement in students’ accents.
Little additional theory will be presented than was offered in BEE and BEET, but there will be the scope to respond to relevant expressions by students of interest in particular topics (e.g. legal, academic, business, media and educational pronunciation issues).
For individual attention to each student throughout the course, the class size will be kept to a maximum of 10 students. As places are limited, student admission will be on a first come, first served basis.
