Dr. Dorothy Chan, Head of Centre for Logistics and Transport spoke at the 2nd Industry Summit of Guangzhou Baiyun International Logistics. The summit attended by 1,000 delegates explores the potential of Baiyun district becoming the district hub on supply chain. Dr. Chan is a keynote speaker and spoke on the importance of professional development in the supply chain industry as China is the world’s leading e-commerce player. Apart from local participants, Hong Kong, Macao and Singapore delegates from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport also attended the Summit. Dr. Chan was interviewed by the local press to share Hong Kong experience. HK-Zuhai-Macao bridge also features as an important corridor including Cainiao (菜鳥) Hub in Hong Kong.
