The programme aims to introduce learners to Korean culture and customs and give them an understanding of daily life in Korean society.
本课程通过介绍韩国文化和习俗，加深学员对韩国社会日常生活的认识。

Learning Outcomes / 学习成果 On completion of the programme, students should be able to Describe aspects of Korea, including its geography, population, national holidays and monetary units; Describe traditional Korean culture, including Hanbok, festivals, folk games and coming of age ceremony; Identify important events and people in Korean history; Compare traditional and modern aspects of Korean culture, including dwellings and the education system.

Assessment and Award / 评核及学衔 A Certificate for Module (Introduction to Korean Culture) will be awarded within the HKU system through HKU SPACE to students who have satisfied the following criteria: achieve 70% attendance of the programme; and pass all the assessments 学员符合下列所有要求，将可按香港大学体制，经香港大学专业进修学院颁授证书(单元 : 韩国文化入门)： 出席率达70%或以上；及 通过所有评核并取得合格成绩 Type of Assessment (评核类别) Description (内容) Weighing (比重) Quiz Each student is required to take two 30-minute online written quizzes (15% each) 30% Class Presentation Each student is required to carry out research on a particular aspect of Korean culture and make a 3- minute presentation in class.  30% Essay Writing Each student is required to submit two 300-word essays (20% each)  40%   Total:   100%

注意事项：

有关学科消息(包括课程及上课地点调动，课程取消等安排)将会透过SOUL2.0网上学习系统发布。请学员多加利用(soul2.0.hkuspace.hku.hk)。同时建议学员下载SOUL2.0手机应用程式(支援iOS及andriod系统,以便接收学科资讯。

凡於「九龙东分校」上课之学员，由於要配合社区书院收生程序，6至8月的上课日期、地点或有更改, 课堂有机会调往其他分校上课。如有更改，学科会透过SOUL2.0网上学习系统发布最新的上课资讯。敬请学员届时留意。如没有任何通知，则请按照原定时间上课。

凡於「九龙西分校」上课之学员，每堂必须出示报读HKU SPACE课程之正式收据或终身学员证，方可进入分校。部份课堂或会调往其他分校上课，请特别留意。

1) 不论网上报名或亲身报名，请务必核实清楚课程报名代码、上课时间及地点后才报名。 完成付款手续后，报名方获接纳。「付款确认通知」会於完成付款手续后，自动由电脑发送至阁下之电邮地址，请保留有关之通知电邮，并自行到各区报名中心向职员索取正式收据；

2) 网上报名会在课程开课日期前两日截止，有兴趣同学届时需亲自到本院报名中心办理报名。

3) 除课程资料更改外，本院将不会另发上课通知，学员如有疑问，可於开课前7 天致电查询，否则学员应自行携同收据所示之课程，按时到有关地点上课。

4) 除特别注明外，一般只接受18岁以上人士报读 (https://hkuspace.hku.hk/cht/study/admission/how-to-apply)；

Applicants shall:

(a) have completed the Certificate in Korean (Foundation) programme at HKU SPACE within a period not longer than 1 year before the start of the programme; or

(b) have attained Grade 2 of Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).

Applicants with other qualifications will be considered on individual merit.

 

申请人必须：​

(a) 在入学前一年内完成本院「韩语证书(基础)」课程，并取得合格成绩（需提供合格证明）；或

(b) 於「韩国语能力考试（TOPIK）」考获2 级合格或以上（需提供相关证明)；

持有其他资历之申请人，学院将按个别情况考虑，请联络学科部查询。

持续进修基金

此课程已列入持续进修基金可发还款项课程名单。如学员成功修毕以下课程及符合有关条件，可获发还有关课程费用的最多80%（首10,000元）及60%（次15,000元）。申请人可不限次数申领合共最多 25,000 港元的资助，但必须在成功修毕基金课程后的一年内递交申请。该基金申请视乎持续进修基金可供运用款项的多寡审批（以上资料如有更改， 以CEF网页内资料为准）。
