This MBA (Master of Business Administration) preparatory course aims to provide tuition support to students for studying the Global MBA, University of London (Academic Direction: Queen Mary University of London).
The MBA programme has the following programme objectives:
1. To enable the advanced study of organisations focusing on the role of leaders and managers in determining the organisation’s mission, vision and strategic direction.
2. To develop critical reflection and engagement skills to understand, apply and challenge the relevance of academic theories in a rapidly changing business context.
3. To develop insights, critical thinking and management skills necessary to function effectively in a management role and to widen the perspective of students beyond the limitations imposed by their own experience.
4. To enhance your interpersonal, team working and cross-cultural skills enabling you to work more effectively with employees and customers.
5. To develop your knowledge and skills across specialist routes congruent with your career and professional development plans and goals.
6. To foster innovation and entrepreneurial skills enabling you to generate original solutions to management problems.

*Students will be required to cover the additional cost incurred due to resubmission of coursework, retaking a module or resubmitting the dissertation.
The programme is intended to:
- Enable participants to develop the necessary skills, competencies and knowledge for effective, ethical and contemporary HR management in a business and organisational context.
- Provide students with the opportunity to develop the qualities needed for employment in complex and unpredictable HRM and related environments.
- Adopt a critical perspective on theory and research, and support the application of learning to students’ work environments.
- Provide the opportunity for students to pursue some subjects to greater depth, to seek out an avenue of HRM enquiry and to carry out independent research through the undertaking of an HR Research Project.
Professional accreditation has been attained from the CIPD for the MAHRM so that upon successful completion of the programme, and dependent on students being in active CIPD Student membership (students can join CIPD as student members upon successful application of the MA HRM programme), students will gain Associate membership on completion. They will then be eligible to upgrade to Chartered or Fellow membership (depending upon their level of HR experience).

Students are supported towards a career in business management so that they may apply knowledge and understanding of business and management to complex, dynamic issues and situations that will come up in their working environments.

This programme is intended for those who are interested in learning how funding is obtained from venture capital firms by entrepreneurs and also how those working within the industry make and manage investments.

Students will learn how organisations intend to engage with the environment and consequently develop capabilities and competencies to provide competitive advantages and fulfill their objectives. Students will also be introduced to key marketing concepts, strategies and core marketing functions that can assist them in decision-making and enhanced outcomes in the marketplace.
