The programme covers a wide range of knowledge in Statistical Analysis, Corporate Financial Management, Risk Analysis and Asset Allocation,  as well as Investment and Portfolio Management, Financial Modelling and Analytics Software. Students will learn how to apply the knowledge and techniques used by market professionals and refresh their investment knowledge using big data.

This programme aims to impart inter-disciplinary knowledge of FinTech and legal regulations to students who are interested in the latest applications of FinTech and related legal issues. It examines contemporary elements and issues of FinTech and applies computational tools to finance and investment through practical workshops in the computer laboratory. The programme illustrates the applications of AI, RegTech, blockchain and robo advisory as well as explains the regulatory framework and statutory compliance.

This programme aims to impart inter-disciplinary knowledge of quantitative finance and machine intelligence to students who are interested in financial analytics and algo trading. It examines contemporary elements in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investing, financial risks and investment portfolios. It also discusses the applications of computational tools to analyse quantitative data and qualitative data, build financial models, perform financial analysis and text analytics to assist investment decision making. The programme illustrates the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to perform financial analytics as well as the usage of algo trading in implementing quantitative investment strategies.
 
 
 

The target student groups for this programme are financial services practitioners who need to understand treasury from the customer’s perspective and would like to pursue in-depth knowledge of banking and corporate treasury function in global financial markets. Practitioners such as front office dealers, specialists in treasury banking operations, corporate treasury specialists, treasury risk analysts, treasury management product analysts, treasury and pension officers, corporate treasury back office specialists, internal auditors in treasury operations, or consultants are suitable to attend the programme.

TMA will offer the TMA Level 2 (Full Member) membership to graduates who have successfully completed this programme.


 

Scholarship Initiative for Top Performers

To recognize academic excellence of students, a new scholarship initiative was offered by TMA.  Students who complete the full program, comprising all three modules, and achieve a distinction (cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above) will be awarded a TMA Scholarship of HK$2,000 for their outstanding performance.

This programme prepares students for the CFP® Certification Examination (Foundation Level) and CFP® Certification Examination (Advanced Level Paper 1 and Advanced Level Paper 2) organized by the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong. The graduates of Advanced Diploma can further articulate to Degree programmes. Besides, degree holders can further their studies in finance postgraduate programmes (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Investment Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Investment Management and Financial Intelligence, Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Data Analytics, Postgraduate Diploma in FinTech and Legal Regulations, and Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Analytics and Algo Trading).

This programme aims to provide students with updated knowledge of Blockchain and its practical applications in the finance and investment fields. It gives an overview of the Blockchain market and introduces students to the basic concept and jargons of Blockchain. The programme also provides the latest market landscape, insight and discussion on the application of Blockchain from the regulatory and legal perspectives.

Money launderers and terrorists engage in money laundering activities through the use of various techniques to disguise funds obtained from illegal activities including drug trafficking, corruption, tax evasion and fraud.

This programme offers the essential concepts and contemporary issue about aircraft leasing and financing. It provides a broad overview of main categories of different aircraft leasing transactions.

The programme will primarily appeal to financial services executives who wish to equip themselves with latest knowledge in marine insurance for their professional advancement. The secondary target market includes business executives or new graduates who aim to take up opportunities in insurance sector with a focus of marine insurance.
