本课程按照国际法语鉴定文凭(Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française ，简称DELF) 的A2程度而设计，旨在协助学员应付DELF A2的法文基准考试。
DELF A2是法国国家教育部颁发的文凭，为全球认可及终身有效。DELF也是由2025年起香港中学文凭试（HKDSE）的指定法语考试，选择法语为丙类其他语言科目的学员须於文凭试前两年之内，自行应考法语鉴定文凭A2 程度或以上的考试。
