The programme examines the impact of technologies like big data, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence on human resource management and equips students with the knowledge to implement HR analysis techniques for HR functions such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development. The programme concludes with a discussion on the future of HR and the emerging trends of predictive HR analytics and digital transformation.
The programme begins with an introduction to the types of HR analytics used today and moves to identifying and applying appropriate HR analytical tools in different business and HR scenarios. The programme also equips students with the skills and knowledge to report findings and gather insights for business and HR strategy and decision-making.
“Hospital intelligence” is about making use of a variety of digital technologies, i.e. Big Data (BD). Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) to connecting up the points of care electronically and to help healthcare professionals to deliver safer, better quality healthcare to patients. Currently, hospital healthcare professionals also facing many challenges varying from patients, colleagues, Government and other public sectors, and also political and legal framework which require them to have an accurate response or decision within a short period of time. Therefore, a well-established digital healthcare intelligence system is needed in the hospital sector.
This programme introduces the history of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics and the concepts, theories and algorithms of machine learning. Students would learn how to control a robot to recognise objects, navigate around and avoid collision with objects by using computer vision programming.
After completing this programme, students can pursue further study or professional training in the advanced area of AI and robotics vision.
