本课程的对象为法语初学者或对法语只有初步认识的学员。它涵盖了一系列日常生活的主题和情境，发展学员的口语、听力、阅读和写作四种技能，配合相应的语法、词汇和发音练习。在课程结束时，学生应能理解并使用基本的日常短语来介绍自己，提出并回答有关个人基本资讯的问题，以及处理一般日常生活情况，例如购物、外出用餐、谈论他们的工作、家庭和兴趣等。
本课程涵盖欧洲语言共同参考架构（CEFR）A1等级的内容。

This programme provides systematic training in translation for those who already have degree or equivalent qualifications. It aims at giving students the confidence and competence to deal with translation work at a close to professional level in different settings and contexts. Students should be able to apply the linguistic and cultural concepts learned to the practical tasks of translation and make improvements in translations done by people and/or artificial intelligence after completion of the programme.
 

The programme also provides a solid foundation for those who plan to study for a higher qualification in translation in the future: holders of the Postgraduate Certificate in Translation can articulate to Postgraduate Diploma in Translation with exemption from the first five modules of the Postgraduate Diploma in Translation programme offered by HKU SPACE.

The programme is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform translation work across various settings and contexts. The primary objective is to instill a sense of confidence and competence in students, enabling them to do translation work at a level that closely mirrors professional standards. This will be achieved through practical exercises that simulate real-world translation scenarios, including assessing translation works done by artificial intelligence. Students are encouraged to apply the linguistic and cultural concepts they have learned throughout the programme to practical tasks, including the final Translation Project module.
 
In addition to providing students with practical training, the programme also lays a solid foundation for further academic pursuits. It prepares students for higher qualifications by providing them with a comprehensive understanding of translation theories and methodologies.

本课程提升学生特定英语技能，使学员在日常生活中准确和适当地运用英语沟通。

This programme can be taken upon successful completion of the Certificate in Italian (Upper Intermediate) or an equivalent programme of 350-370 hours. Students will practise speaking skills, expressing opinions on culture, sport, food & drink, current affairs, local events, holidays & the world today. They will read and react to authentic texts, making comments in both the spoken and written forms. Students will also listen to songs and recordings of native speakers such as public announcements and detailed instructions.

By the end of the programme, students should be able to talk about various topics in a more detailed and fluent way , write different types of texts regarding more abstract and cultural matters, summarise the main ideas when listening to clear speeches or reading a wide range of texts.

本课程是为成功修毕「西班牙语证书（中高级）」(Certificate in Spanish (Upper Intermediate))或相当於350至370小时的同等课程的学员而设的。学员将进一步深化其德语讲说技巧，表达对文化、体育、饮食、时事、地方活动、假期和当今世界的看法。学员将阅读更多真实的文本和作出回应，并以口语和书面形式发表评论。学员还会聆听歌曲和母语者的录音，如公共广播和详细的说明。在课程结束时，学生应该能够更详细且流畅地谈论各种主题，撰写不同类型文本，涉及更抽象的内容和文化问题，并能够在聆听清晰录音或阅读各类文本时总结主要观点。

本课程为"普通话证书(中级)"的进阶课程，旨在：
 

1. 学习传意知识：
2. 提高普通话传意水平；
3. 加深对普通话语言文化的认识。

本课程是为成功修毕「西班牙语证书（初级）」(Certificate in Spanish (Introductory))或相当於110至130小时的同等课程的学员而设的，旨在巩固学员的语言基础及加强其对相关语法的应用。在课程结束时，学员应该能够更有信心地以西班牙语谈论如家庭、朋友、休闲活动、饮食、过去和未来的情况等不同的主题。不论在阅读还是聆听方面，学员都应能掌握重点，还可以写一些简单的文本，例如明信片和电子邮件等。

本课程涵盖欧洲语言共同参考架构（CEFR）A2等级的内容。

本课程是为完成了「西班牙语证书（中级）」 (Certificate in Spanish (Intermediate)) 或相当於230-250小时的同等课程的学员而设的，让他们在已建立的语言基础上加强语法及其他相关技巧。学员透过简单的讨论、角色扮演和小组活动等各不同形式的训练，以提升其讲说西班牙语的能力和自信。在课程结束时，学生应该能够用该语言表达简单的意见和感受以及谈论过去、现在和未来；他们还应该能够从简单的广告中读取信息，并使用多种动词时态在熟悉的话题上写作。

本课程旨在帮助学生在工作场所使用英语沟通时更加准确和流利。课程目标是让学生具备基本的商务文法、商务词汇和商务沟通技能，使他们能够在常见的商务情景中与英语作为母语和非英语作为母语的人士进行交流。

更好地掌握商务英语文法、词汇、聆听、阅读、写作和交谈方式能提升学员的的信心，让他们在完成课程后进一步发展至更高水平的商务英语运用技巧。本课程针对需要加强入门英语水平的专业人士，以提高他们在以英语为主要沟通语言的工作场所中的表现。
