Speaker biography:

Mr. Paul Langford, FHEA, has managed large scale technology projects in the financial services sector and is a lecturer and Programme Leader in The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University. Given the scale and pace of changes in the sector this talk discusses the latest Fintech issues affecting banking.

Seminar Topic:

The development of financial market is ever-growing and the role of central banks have strategic changes. Thanks to the technological development, companies in banking and finance service sectors are adopting new technology to improve their competitive edges and Financial Technology (Fintech) becomes a hot topic in the globe. Paul will share his findings related to the contemporary issues in banking and finance technology.
