建築
Architecture is about providing appropriate shelters for human functions and activities through a comprehensive understanding of our living environment, our society and culture, our history and technology. The aim is to provide sustainable future for the next generation.
Learning architecture allows us to explore the intrinsic relationship between people, culture and city systematically. Research into the site context, building functions, and statutory constrains to provide a solution by developing an architectural design through a process of conceptualization and rationalization which echoes the past and forecast the future in a meaningful way.
We offer a broad range of architecture courses from award-bearing courses providing students with the foundation to study architecture at the tertiary level, to interest courses on architecture and design-related topics and technical courses on the practice of architecture.

Do you want to release your creative impulses and imagination, and nurture your intellectual drives whilst responding to real life design concerns? Studying University of Plymouth's Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Architectural Studies degree in Hong Kong will offer you an opportunity to do so! Accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for Part 1, the course allows you to engage with current affairs and ever-changing global currents across multiple fields, whilst consciously being oriented towards proposing sensitive responses.
本課程旨在讓學員進一步了解香港的中式建築、吉祥裝飾圖案、中式園林風格，並到元朗屏山文物徑等戶外考察及實習。
完成課程，可獲發修讀證明書。

導賞員訓練課程系列包括香港中西建築、歷史文化、生態古蹟教育及博物館教育導賞，務求讓學員對香港歷史文化及古蹟教育有較深入的了解，並通過考察/實習課，有助學員成為稱職的導賞員，進而從事教育導賞的相關活動。
本課程是〈歷史文化及古蹟教育導賞課程〉(西式建築)的延伸，旨在讓學員進一步了解香港西式建築的多元風格和教堂符號，並進行戶外考察。
This programme is on the pre-approved list of the Construction Innovation and Technology Fund (CITF)and is included in the list of reimbursable courses under the Continuing Education Fund.
One sketchbook and required drawing instruments will be provided for students.
The principles, practices and application of the building codes, including the Buildings Ordinance, Building Regulations, Codes of Practices and the Practice Notes for Authorized Persons will be extensively discussed and explained.
Candidates for the Architects Registration Board/ Hong Kong Institute of Architects Professional Assessment who received their professional education overseas and others interested in learning about local building codes are welcome.
