The programme aims to provide students with essential business knowledge and skills necessary for performing internal audits in various organisational contexts and enhancing audit quality and efficiency. It also develops students’ ability in evaluating information security controls and utilizing financial information for performance measurement. In addition, it equips students with the necessary knowledge for the CIA examination conducted by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
 

Artificial Intelligence, Big data and machine learning become the more efficient and effective ways which  have been widespreadly adopted to the accounting and auditing practices. The Transforming Audit through AI and Big Data Analytics program could empower those who always get involved into the complicated accounting and auditing operations to rapidly, correctly and visually analyze and present the data into dynamic and readable insights. They could not only receive a lot of technical knowledge, but also take part into the hand on work practice.

It will also introduce how the latest advances in artificial intelligence facilitate the application of audit analytics.   AI supported Audit Analytics will be taught with Demonstration using ChatGPT.
