快速的技術進步正為世界經濟強國格局進行重新洗牌。隨著工業革命4.0的快速發展，世界經濟的發展比以往任何時候都更加依賴於新技術的應用以及創新所推動。新數位技術的發展也加劇了市場對於具備創新思維及技術技能的數位領導者和企業高管的需求。有見及此，我們成立了創新、創意和創業（ICE）學科小組以抓住這巨大機遇，培養ICE領導者和人才。我們亦希望通過知識和技能轉移，在社會及經濟層面，為香港及區內的可持續發展帶來積極正向的影響。
